The basic structure of this type of jig is shown in the figure below. It consists of a frame, a jigging chamber, a diaphragm chamber, a mesh chamber, a rubber diaphragm, a water distribution valve, and a transmission (eccentric mechanism).

    The motor drives the main shaft to rotate through the V-belt, and the eccentric link mechanism drives the rocker arm to move. Therefore, the two connecting rods drive the two-chamber diaphragm to make alternating ascending and descending reciprocating motions, forcing the water in the jigging chamber to also undergo up-and-down alternating motion.
The stroke (s) of the jig can be adjusted by a double bias mechanism.
The punch (n) of the jig is adjusted by changing the number of revolutions of the motor.
The sieved heavy product (coarse concentrate) selected in the jigging chamber is discharged by a central sleeve device as shown in the following figure. The undersize concentrate is drained from the drain valve at the bottom of the tank.

This jig in our country is widely used in sorting tungsten, tin and gold ore.
The main advantages of this type of jig:
(1) The range of stroke adjustment is large, so it can adapt to a wide range of ore feeding. The upper limit of the particle size can be 12~18 mm and the lower limit is 0.2 mm. That is, coarse, medium and fine ore can be selected, and can be used for both rough selection and selection.
(2) Due to the small screen area, the water is agitated more evenly. Therefore, the bed is relatively stable, the selection index is better, and the concentrate on the screen is easily discharged, and the qualified concentrate or coarse concentrate is obtained once, and the productivity per unit area is large.
(3) Since the diaphragm and the transmission parts are both in the upper part of the body, it is convenient to operate and maintain. The disadvantage is that the scale is small and the production capacity is small. In addition, since the diaphragm chamber occupies half of the body area, the unit effective screen surface area is larger than other jigs.
