Autodesk Names Carmel Galvin Chief Human Resources Officer
SAN FRANCISCO, February 1, 2018—Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK), a leading software company for creators, has announced that Carmel Galvin will be joining the organization as the Chief Human Resources Officer starting March 5, 2018. In this role, Galvin will oversee all aspects of Autodesk's HR functions, including strategic planning, organizational development, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Additionally, she will lead efforts related to corporate real estate, travel management, safety, and security.
Galvin brings over two decades of extensive HR experience from some of the world's most respected organizations, including Deloitte, Advent Software, and MSCI Barra Inc. Her most recent position was as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Glassdoor, where she played a pivotal role in shaping company culture and fostering employee engagement.
