The event, organized by China Bus Network, focused on the theme “The Impact on the Chinese Bus Industry.†It included several key activities such as the 2007 Top Ten Press Selections, the 2007 Best Employer Awards, the 2008 Most Popular Bus Recommendations, and the 2008 overseas market recommendations. Additional components like the China Bus Brands and Markets Forum, and the Bus and Passenger Forum aimed to leverage the internet's strengths to connect businesses with online readers. These initiatives sought to review and summarize the performance of the Chinese bus industry in areas such as marketing, brand building, product innovation, international exports, and talent management, ultimately driving the industry forward and supporting long-term brand strategies.
This year marked the third consecutive year that China Bus Network hosted the Top Ten News Selection for the passenger car industry, drawing widespread interest from both within and outside the sector. The voting process lasted a full month, with over 100,000 votes cast. To ensure fairness, an expert committee was formed, composed of senior industry professionals and transport authorities. Wu Yongqiang, Director of China Bus Network Operations, emphasized that these events are not only about promoting a harmonious and stable development of the industry but also about preparing for its brighter future. He expressed hope that the Chinese bus industry would continue to shine even more in the years ahead.
Following the selection process, several awards were announced. Suzhou Jinlong won the 2007 Best Employer Award in the Chinese Bus Industry.
