There is huge space for cooperation between China and Australia in the agricultural sector.
[ China Agricultural Machinery Industry News ] This website recently, Tang Huajun, a member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and the president of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, led a delegation to visit agricultural research institutions and international agricultural research institutions in New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia. During the visit to Australia, the delegation held talks with the Southern Branch of the Australian Natural Resources Management Organization and the University of Tasmania. The two sides agreed that the agricultural sector in China and Australia is highly complementary and there is huge room for cooperation in the fields of agricultural resources, animal husbandry, soybeans and vegetables. In Indonesia, the delegation held talks with the International Forestry Research Center and the Indonesian Agricultural Research and Development Agency and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in climate change, agroforestry and animal molecular breeding, veterinary biotechnology, and agricultural remote sensing.
