Introducing the new, expanded Autodesk Entrepreneur Impact Program

By: Jake Layes In 2009, Autodesk launched the Cleantech Partner Program as a way to support innovators and startups working in green and clean technology. We began by offering our design software to over 100 companies across the U.S. and Europe. Fast forward six years, and today, more than 3,000 startups from North America, Europe, Israel, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore have joined the program to access tools that help them develop sustainable solutions. To better support the next wave of entrepreneurs, we're expanding our focus beyond traditional clean tech sectors. To reflect this broader vision, we're rebranding the program as the Autodesk Entrepreneur Impact Program. [Image: Entrepreneurimage1] The expanded program invites entrepreneurs worldwide who are driving positive environmental or social change to apply for access to Autodesk’s digital prototyping, design, engineering, and fabrication software. Whether you’re building renewable energy systems, improving urban infrastructure, or developing innovative waste management solutions, this program is designed to empower your mission. Over the past six years, the world has changed significantly. Clean technology has evolved, renewable energy costs have dropped, and global corporations are increasingly investing in sustainability initiatives. Technology is advancing faster than ever, and access to it is becoming more widespread. The millennial generation is now leading the workforce, and sustainability and climate concerns are at the forefront of public consciousness. Today’s entrepreneurs aren’t just building businesses—they’re creating scalable solutions that tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges, including climate change. These innovators are emerging not only in the U.S. and Europe but also across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As Forbes recently highlighted, “Africa’s growing crop of young entrepreneurs will transform the continent and rewrite its future.” In China, the government is actively supporting a vision of a sustainable, beautiful nation, encouraging innovation across the country. We’ve seen incredible growth from grassroots organizations in regions like Africa, Southeast Asia, and India. With this program expansion, we aim to provide these entrepreneurs with the same powerful tools used by large corporations. We’re particularly looking for those with high-impact ideas to offer additional training and support. Empowering entrepreneurs is one of the first steps we can take. As Peter Drucker once said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” We’re excited to see more entrepreneurs design solutions that contribute to a low-carbon future for everyone. Apply now. Eligible entrepreneur organizations must be less than five years old, have under $1 million in annual revenue, and be focused on creating positive environmental or social impact.
