This evening, Drew Gresik captured some compelling images and provided a detailed account of a second-alarm fire that broke out in Brookfield. The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Rosemear, where a two-story ordinary structure caught fire in its garage. As flames rapidly consumed the garage, they quickly spread to the main residence, prompting the fire department to escalate the response to a second alarm.
Soon after, the fire escalated further, leading to a full-scale response from MABAS Division 10. Neighboring divisions, including those from MABAS Division 11, 20, and 21, were called in for support, making it an inter-divisional effort. Multiple fire lines were deployed, and nearly every available crew was actively engaged in combating the blaze.
