Algonquin listing is updated
I just updated the photo gallery for the Algonquin-Lake In The Hills Fire District. We’ve added several new images that showcase the equipment at Stations 2 and 3. One of the photos features a pickup truck that’s labeled as a brush truck. While this vehicle is indeed part of our fleet, it’s worth noting that the department recently ordered a skid-mount unit designed to be mounted onto the back of the pickup. Unfortunately, the installation wasn’t complete by the time the picture was taken, so you’ll see the truck without the specialized gear in place.
In addition to the pickup, I also uploaded some other photos highlighting our firefighting resources. One image shows our KME Predator engine, a workhorse that’s been an integral part of our operations. Another photo captures one of our Ferrara Inferno tower ladders, which provides us with critical aerial capabilities. There’s also a general shot of the station that gives a good sense of the setup and organization here.
It’s always exciting to share these updates with the community, especially since it helps people get a better understanding of the tools and vehicles we rely on to keep everyone safe.
