Calcification roasting and vanadium extraction: calcium compound is added as a flux to vanadium solid waste to pelletize and roast, and vanadium is oxidized to calcium salt of water-insoluble vanadium, such as Ca(VO3)2, Ca3(VO4)4, Ca2V2O7, It is then leached with acid and controlled to a reasonable pH to produce vo2; V10O28 plasma, while purifying the leachate to remove impurities such as Fe. Then, vanadium is precipitated by ammonium salt method, ammonium metavanadate is prepared and calcined to obtain high purity v2O5. The exhaust gas of the method does not contain harmful gases such as HCl and Cl2: the leaching residue after roasting does not contain sodium salt, and is rich in calcium, which is beneficial to comprehensive utilization, such as can be used in the building materials industry. However, the calcification roasting process has a certain selectivity to the calcined material. The literature believes that CaO in vanadium slag has a great influence on the conversion rate of calcination, because it is easy to form calcium insoluble calcium vanadate CaO-V2O5 or calcium-containing vanadium blue calcium with V2O5 during calcination, and the mass fraction of CaO increases by 1 %, it will bring about 4.7% to 9% of V2O5 loss.
