According to statistics, the total realized profit of the machinery industry from January to December 2012 was 1.23 trillion yuan, an increase of only 5.18% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 15.96 percentage points from the same period of last year. The profit rate of main business income of the industry fell to 6.81%, which was lower than the level of 7% in 2010 and 2011. The industry realized a total taxation of 655.3 billion yuan, an increase of 12.86% over the same period of last year. The loss of the company was 11.25%, up 2.78 percentage points over the same period of last year.

Cai Weici said that in a comprehensive view, in 2012, the machinery industry realized a modest increase in major economic indicators such as production and sales, and efficiency. At the same time, under the influence of the market forcing mechanism, the company's endogenous resilience has been strengthened, and the industry's transformation and upgrading are working hard. The market demand situation in 2013 will be milder than that in 2012. The annual production and sales growth rate is expected to be around 12%, the profit growth rate will be around 8%, and the export growth rate will be around 8%.
