Laser radar distance sensor improves driving safety when insufficient light

According to ZDNet, a commercial technology news website, Ford's LiDAR (LiDAR) sensor can help owners drive safely in dark nights. Even if you don't drive a headlight, you don't have to worry about it.

Ford has completed testing of a Fusion self-driving car equipped with a laser radar ranging sensor in Arizona, USA, and stated that the Ford Fusion hybrid model can already "surpass the limits of human drivers" and is safer than human drivers driving in the dark. The index is higher.

Google revealed plans to develop self-driving cars several years ago. Until now, global automotive and technology companies are exploring this area with huge market prospects. The car at this stage has been equipped with a reversing camera, a constant-speed manipulator and sensors. When we are too close to an obstacle, these devices will prompt us to stay away from danger, but the self-driving car is much more advanced. According to Google and other companies, the purpose of self-driving cars is to reduce man-made driving mistakes, thereby reducing the number of accidents and casualties. However, in addition to considering the possibility of the driver colliding with careless driving during the day, the R&D personnel should also consider how to make the self-driving car safe under poor lighting and bad weather conditions, so that the self-driving car can be worthy of the name.

The lack of light is extremely common, but sometimes it can have fatal consequences. Last week, Ford revealed that it is focusing on improving the safety of driving vehicles in poor light conditions. Ford's self-driving cars rely on three types of sensors—radars, cameras, and lidar distance sensors—to detect roads, obstacles, and track vehicle positions. Laser technology can emit approximately 2.8 million laser pulses in one second, allowing the car to have full sensor functionality under any external conditions. Self-driving cars can use this data to generate a 3D map of the surroundings. In testing the technology, Ford engineers used night-vision goggles and observed the Ford Fusion car outside the car. They said that without driving the headlights, the Fusion car could only rely on LiDAR technology to drive on a dark road without any accident.

LINA Kneading-Preforming Integrated Machine

LINA granulating-preforming integrated machine centralizes all functions of a complete granulation line on one independent working platform. The continuous kneading and preforming efficiency is 1-2 times higher than traditional rubber and plastic sheets, pipes and particles production line. With the combination of PLC control system, LINA Pelletizing-cooling Integrated machine makes the granulation process easier, the working area smaller, labor cost lower and maintenance rate lower.

Technical Advantages of LINA Kneading-preforming Integrated Machine

1. Double gas protection + Air isolated functions: Double gas protection design: Within kneading and pelletizing process, material`s physical properties will change due to different temperature zones, the double gas protection design is adopted to achieve the purpose of protecting material`s physical property. This patented technology is used in the general comparison of titanium / aluminum / copper / nickel and other metal alloy formulations.

2. Double gas protection + Air isolated combined technology: Under the technology of air isolated, the oxygen content in mixing chamber is significantly reduced. And with the design of double gas protection, a high air pressure with low oxygen content mixing environment is formed to ensure the material is kneading and pelletizing in a very low oxygen or oxygen-free state. This patented technology is used in high-quality titanium / aluminum / copper / nickel and other metal alloy formula synthesis and granulation, particularly suitable for discolored special ceramic feeding.

Value Points:

1. Automation: Continuous kneading and pelletizing.

2. Eco-friendly: No gas masks needed while operating.

3. User-friendly: Quick release design for die head.

4. Modular: Based on user`s demand, manually material feeding can be updated to automatic weighted feeding.
