According to a Reuters report, Dongfeng Motor recently stated that the company has signed an agreement with the local distributor AWRostamaniGroup, which will distribute the former Aeolus brand automobile in the Middle East.
According to the agreement signed last week, AWRostamani will sell Dongfeng’s Aeolus S30 compact car and Fengshen H30 hatchback in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
In China, the Fengshen S30 starts at 67,800 yuan, while the Fengshen H30 will sell at more than 73,800 yuan. Both cars are equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine.
In addition to being a dealer of Dongfeng Motor in the Middle East, AW Restamani is a distributor of Nissan, Renault and Infiniti in the Middle East.
Dongfeng Motor, headquartered in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, currently sells the Aeolus brand cars S30, H30 and A60. As of now, these models are only sold in China.
Dongfeng Motor also established joint ventures with Honda Motors, Nissan Motors, Kia Motors and PSA Peugeot Citroen.
The Middle East region is also the export market for Chery Automobile Company, Great Wall Motor Company and Zhejiang Geely Automobile Company.
