Ball mill principle, characteristics, use

The energy-saving ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, outer gear drive, two positions, lattice type ball mill. The material is fed into the first chamber of the mill through the feeding device through the hollow shaft of the feed material. The chamber has a stepped liner or a corrugated liner and contains steel balls of different specifications. The cylinder conveys the centrifugal force to bring the steel ball to a certain extent. After the height falls, it will produce heavy blow and grinding effect on the material. After the raw material reaches the rough grinding in the first position, it enters the second position via a single-layered partition board. The leveling insert has a flat lining plate with steel balls inside and the material is further ground. The powder is discharged through the discharge sampan plate to complete the grinding operation.

The ball mill is composed of main parts such as feeding part, discharging part, turning part and transmission part. The hollow shaft is made of cast steel and the inner lining can be replaced. The slewing bull gear is processed by casting hobbing. The barrel body is inlaid with a wear-resistant liner and has good wear resistance. The ball mill operates smoothly and reliably. The commonly used equipment in the beneficiation production line includes energy-saving ball mills, energy-efficient conical ball mills, magnetic separators and flotation machines.

Ball mills are widely used in cement, silicate products, new construction materials, refractories, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal beneficiation and glass ceramics, etc., and dry or wet grinding of various ores and other abrasive materials.
