Michelin Winter Tire Receives Japan's Most Satisfactory Product

The reporter was informed on August 12, 2011 that JDPower Asia Pacific, the authoritative market research company of the United States, released the 2011 Winter Tire Customer Satisfaction Survey Report in Japan. The Michelin Winter Tire was rated as the most satisfied product by customers, which is also the second consecutive Michelin winter tire. Eight years of this honor.

It is reported that the customer satisfaction survey that has lasted for eight years provides tire manufacturers with the evaluation criteria for tire end-users' problems encountered in measuring winter tires, and evaluates the customer's satisfaction with using winter tires in six aspects: including Snow performance (23%), ice-slide performance (26%), ordinary road performance (13%), ordinary road performance under traction (10%), appearance (12%), and quality/wear resistance ( 16%). The final composite score is calculated based on the customer's evaluation. Out of a score of 1,000 points, Michelin ranked the team with a combined score of 653 and scored the highest in six singles. Bridgestone followed closely with 609 points.

According to Tetsushi Furuya, JDPower’s project manager for the Asia Pacific region, “For tire manufacturers, when customers purchase tires, it is important to explain the importance of tire performance and how to deal with emergencies, which can improve customer satisfaction. A large percentage of customers do not care about the performance of tires, so this means that manufacturers and retailers should look for opportunities to reach these buyers."

Research has found that customers with higher expectations for tire performance are becoming more and more demanding when their tires encounter problems. When they encountered a problem with a winter tyre, satisfaction fell by 27 points instead of putting the standard on the performance of the tyre on an icy road. At the same time, winter tyres also scored 48 points lower on ice-slip roads. Therefore, tire manufacturers need to continuously improve the performance of snow roads and the performance of ice-slip roads, so as to fully improve customer satisfaction and strengthen brand loyalty. Since 1989 began to receive the tire consumer satisfaction award issued by JDPower, Michelin has been recognized by JDPower as an unmatched consumer satisfaction brand since the establishment of the tire award.

The excellent quality of Michelin winter tires provides consumers with good safety protection during winter driving. At the same time, consumers' preference for Michelin winter tires has also brought higher Michelin brand recognition and sales performance. It is expected that in China, sales and market share of Michelin winter tires will continue to grow in the coming years.

Cat6 cable, short of category 6 cable, Cat6 is a standardized cable for Gigabit Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards.[1] Compared with Cat 5 and Cat 5e, Cat 6 features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise. The cable standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T/1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet).
