How to choose the pneumatic rock drill correctly in underground mine?
The impact energy of the existing rock drill , the gas leg type is about 6~8kg·m; the impact frequency is no more than 2000 times/min for the hand-held type, the air leg type is not more than 2600 times/min, and the upward type is not more than 3500 times/min. The type can reach 4000 times/min; the torque, the air leg type is generally 120-180kg·m; the weight, the hand-held type is 20-25kg, the air leg type is 20-30kg, and the rail type is 40-90kg.
When selecting a rock drill , the following points should generally be considered:
Working conditions: roadway, patio, shaft, stope, field, etc.;
Drilling parameters: direction, diameter and hole depth of the borehole;
Rock properties: hardness, strength and drillability.
