The second Jinpou 1×300MW thermal power project contracted by China Harbin Power Station Engineering Co., Ltd. has achieved a successful grid connection on August 27, 2010. At present, the general contractor and the owner are actively preparing for the reliability of the project and the final commercial operation. It is understood that the owner of the above project is Jinpu Thermal Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Vietnam Coal Mining Industry Group. The EPC contract value is 246 million U.S. dollars and the contract period is 32 months. Prior to this, the first-phase project of the same scale contracted by Harbin Power had been connected to the grid for power generation in July 2009.
