Freescale's 2011 net loss of nearly 400 million U.S. dollars

Freescale has announced financial reports for the fourth quarter of 2011 and for the full year of 2011.

In the fourth quarter of 2011, Freescale’s sales were US$1.01 billion, sales in the same period of 2010 were US$1.18 billion, and sales in the third quarter of 2011 were US$1.14 billion.

In the fourth quarter of 2011, Freescale suffered a net loss of US$6 million, a loss of US$106 million in the same period of 2010, and a loss of US$88 million in the third quarter of 2011.

For the full year of 2011, Freescale’s sales were US$4.57 billion, an increase from 2010 sales (US$4.46 billion). In 2011, Freescale suffered a net loss of 410 million U.S. dollars and a net loss of 1.05 billion U.S. dollars in 2010.
