Spring Washer, also known as split lock washer or lock washer. The common type is one coil with split ends. Activated carbon is a special type of char that has been treated to have a large number of tiny pores on its surface. It is made by heating organic materials (such as shells, coal, or wood) in the absence of air to reduce non-carbon components (a process called carbonization) and then reacting with gases to etch the surface and create a highly porous structure (a process called activation). Because the activation process is a microscopic process, in which large numbers of molecules of carbonized material are etched at points, it results in the surface of activated carbon having an enormous number of tiny pores. The microscopic pores on the surface of activated carbon have a diameter of mostly 2 to 50 nanometers, even a small amount of activated carbon has a huge surface area, every gram of activated carbon has a surface area of 500 to 1500 square meters, and almost all applications of activated carbon are based on this characteristic.
Activated carbon is mainly used for the purification of drinking water, alcohol, beverages and other raw materials. It can also be used for the removal of harmful impurities in organic and inorganic substances in electroplating baths. It has excellent performance for purifying drinking water. It not only removes odor, but also reduces COD,chromaticity and high removal rate of various impurities such as chlorine,phenol, mercury, lead, arsenic, detergents and pesticides in water.
