Here's a message from Eric Haak: Just wanted to share a few quick photos from an alley garage fire that took place this morning at 5955 S. Throop (December 24th). Engine 84 arrived on the scene and quickly deployed their deck gun, which helped bring most of the fire under control in just a matter of minutes. A hose line was then laid to finish the job and ensure everything was fully extinguished. It’s amazing how fast the firefighters were able to respond and handle the situation so efficiently. As always, I want to send a heartfelt holiday greeting to everyone, especially those who are working this time of year, away from their loved ones. Wishing you all a safe and joyful holiday season.
