Solenoid Directional Valve for Radio Remote Control Grab
The solenoid valve is designed for use in radio remote control grabs. It is an essential component of the hydraulic system, enabling the grab to open and close efficiently. The hydraulic block is installed in the center beneath the roof beam, while the main control valves are integrated into the valve assembly. These valves ensure smooth operation of the grab by regulating the flow of hydraulic fluid.
Here are some key operational notes and troubleshooting tips:
- When opening the grab causes a significant impact, adjust the throttle valve (YPYK025019) by turning it clockwise to reduce the flow and slow down the opening speed. Ensure the throttle valve is not fully closed; a 50% opening is generally recommended. Also, check if the electromagnetic valve B is receiving power, as it should be active under normal conditions.
- If the grab fails to open when power is connected, first verify that both electromagnetic valves A and B are properly powered. Next, check the position of the valve handle to ensure it is in the maximum position. If these steps do not resolve the issue, use the emergency hand-pull mechanism to open the grab, following the procedure outlined in section 5.6.
- If the grab cannot close, first confirm that electromagnetic valve A is in a non-powered state. Then, check the hydraulic oil level to ensure it meets the required standards. The oil level should be above the midpoint on the gauge. Additionally, inspect the one-way valve within the hydraulic cylinder. To test this, remove one of the high-pressure hoses, connect it between the valve block and the upper part of the oil reservoir, and block any leaks. Pull the slip board and press the "open" button on the remote controller. If the grab opens slowly, there may be an issue with the hydraulic cylinder. If not, the cylinder is likely functioning properly. Repeat the process for the other cylinder. If both cylinders are working correctly, the problem may lie with the hydraulic valve block, which should be inspected further.
- Another method to check the one-way valve involves lifting the slip board and bringing the ears close to the cylinder walls. If a hissing sound ("sisi") is heard, it may indicate a fault in the one-way valve. Otherwise, the cylinders are likely in good condition.
This solenoid directional valve plays a critical role in the efficient and safe operation of remote-controlled grabs, ensuring precise control over the hydraulic system. Proper maintenance and regular checks can help prevent malfunctions and extend the lifespan of the equipment. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and safety procedures when operating or servicing the grab.
