FAW Group's 3 self-core high-tech engine ignition successful

On the morning of the 12th, three FAW Group engines with their own core technologies were successfully ignited at the FAW Technology Center, indicating that FAW Group's low-carbon energy-saving technology has achieved new results.

According to reports, these three engines are CA3GA10, CA4GA13TD, CA4DH1. Among them, CA3GA10 is a new generation of triple-cylinder 1.0L gasoline engine platform developed by FAW and the performance index has reached the international level. It also reserves the space for next-generation in-cylinder direct injection, boosting, intake and exhaust VCT, external EGR and other energy-saving technologies, and is an ideal power source for A00 economy passenger cars, minibuses, and hybrid cars.

CA4GA13TD is the first two-valve gasoline direct-injection booster small-displacement gasoline engine independently developed by FAW. It has its own integrated gasoline direct injection system. This system has its own ECU software to meet the third stage fuel consumption and national V emission regulations. It is an SUV, Ideal for hybrid and A0-class cars.

CA4DH1 is a new-generation 4L platform four-valve diesel engine newly designed by FAW Group based on the DEUTZ two-valve 2012 diesel engine introduced by the joint venture in Germany. The emission meets the national IV and national V emission regulations and has the potential to meet the national VI emission regulations. It is an ideal driving force for medium-sized and light commercial vehicles.

Li Jun, director of FAW Technology Center, said that the successful firing of these three engines is of great significance: First, the upgrading of FAW's mid-size diesel engines; second, FAW's 1L platform gasoline engine products are independently developed by high-tech start-ups using low-carbon technology; and third, FAW engine electronic control. All in-depth self-innovation; fourth is the implementation of the FAW Blue Way energy-saving technology strategy.
