Here's a message from Dan Shevlin: Dan Shevlin photo Dan Shevlin photo Dan Shevlin photo Dan Shevlin photo Dan Shevlin photo It looks like a serious incident, with firefighters working quickly to contain the blaze. The attic fire likely posed a significant risk, especially given the connection to the neighboring building. Tower Ladder 14 was clearly involved in critical operations, probably trying to reach the upper levels or prevent the fire from spreading further. These photos give a good sense of the intensity of the situation. If you're interested in more details or updates, I recommend checking the link provided for additional images and information. 1711 Kimball was the original fire building, a two-story frame structure measuring 25 x 50 feet. It communicated with 1709 Kimball, a three-story frame building of the same size. The fire started in the attic, and multiple hand lines were deployed. Tower Ladder 14 was assigned to work on the attic of the adjacent exposure.
