Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled some imported Land Rover new Range Rover, Land Rover New Range Rover Sport, Jaguar XJ, Jaguar F-PACE and some domestic Jaguar XFL series cars
Recently, Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls. Since December 22, 2017, some of the imported Land Rover Range Rover, Land Rover New Range Rover, Jaguar XJ, Jaguar F-PACE and some domestic Jaguar XFL series cars have been recalled. According to statistics, there are a total of 32,325 vehicles in mainland China, as follows:
(1) Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (25253 vehicles in total)
Some of the 2017 imported Land Rover new Range Rover, which was produced from October 25, 2016 to August 17, 2017, totaled 8,814 vehicles.
Part of the 2017 imported Land Rover new Range Rover Sport, which was produced from October 25, 2016 to August 17, 2017, totaled 8,752 vehicles.
Some Jaguar XJs were imported from September 1, 2016 to August 18, 2017, for a total of 4,385 vehicles.
A total of 3,302 Jaguar F-PACEs were imported from September 5, 2016 to August 17, 2017 for 2017-2018.
(2) Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automobile Co., Ltd. (a total of 7072 vehicles)
Part of the 2017-2018 domestic Jaguar XFL produced from July 21, 2016 to July 26, 2017, totaling 7072 vehicles.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause the instrument panel to be re-started due to manufacturing problems of the LCD panel supplier. During the restart, the LCD panel may not display the necessary vehicle information, posing a safety hazard. Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co., Ltd. will upgrade the dashboard software for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.
If the relevant users find the black screen of the LCD instrument panel, they should contact the local dealer for inspection as soon as possible.
