The conference conducted in-depth analysis and discussion on a series of current hot issues such as the new requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction in the bus industry and new technologies for the development of the engine industry.

The bus industry needs energy-saving and environmentally friendly products

At the meeting, major engine companies introduced some of the current research and development of public transport engines. Insufficient autonomous engine

In fact, there is still a certain gap between the development level of China's internal combustion engine industry and that of the international market. The core technologies of the engine's related parts and components are still in the hands of foreign companies. Mr. Xu, the person in charge of Beijing Bafangda Bus Company, deeply feels this. "After several years of use, we have found that the difference between domestic brands and foreign brands in product performance is not obvious. However, in terms of maintenance costs, since the core components of domestic products are all foreign brands, their cost is much higher. Moreover, the upgrading of self-owned brand products is relatively frequent, resulting in a lack of commonality in maintenance. The comparison of imported brands' after-sales maintenance has become a system, which is also a direction for domestic independent brands to strive for in the future, said Xu.

Chang Chung, Minister of Changchun Public Transport Technology Department, said: “The EFI system has gradually replaced the traditional mechanical systems (such as carburetor) to control the engine's fuel supply process.
