Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory Receives Award for Large-scale Nuclear Power Station Detector

Introduction: The nuclear reactor detector used by the Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory for large nuclear power plants won the “National Energy Science and Technology Progress Award in 2010” by the National Energy Administration. At the same time, it was awarded the third prize of technology development category of the "2011 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award" by China Machinery Industry Association.

Recently, Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory’s large-scale nuclear power plant nuclear reactor detector won the “National Energy Science and Technology Progress Award of the Year 2010” by the National Energy Administration. The awards show that the overall technical level and major technical indicators of Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory in the field of nuclear power have reached the domestic advanced level.

Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory (State-owned 261 Factory) is a large-scale enterprise directly subordinated to China National Nuclear Corporation and integrating scientific research and production. It is China's largest nuclear radiation detector and nuclear instrument research and production base.

Since its establishment in 1957, it has provided various fields and departments for China's national defense, military industry, aerospace, customs, scientific research institutes, universities and colleges, meteorology, metrology, environmental protection, petroleum, geology, medical epidemic prevention and environmental monitoring, and industrial online monitoring. All kinds of instrumentation and experimental equipment that are urgently needed. In the development and production of reactors, nuclear power plant control, and measuring instruments, it has provided in- and out-of-stack, out-reactor detectors, control, protection, and measurement for nearly 30 reactors, experimental reactors, power reactors, nuclear submarines, and nuclear power stations at home and abroad.
